I am very excited to share my latest Director/DoP

I am very excited to share my latest Director/DoP showreel showcasing my multidisciplinary skills. Most of the projects in this video were shot as super tiny crew, and alone at camera department (appart for underwater). All these projects where I was writing, directing, shooting (sometimes on skis with gimbal at 90km/h), focusing, lighting, drone piloting, editing, color grading, and working on the sound fx.
.
Message to agencies and production companies: I’m available, if you give me more ressources and crew I’ll be able to do even more! Let’s kill it!

The musical composition was made by my super talented friend @mathildemarsal and the track is part of her future album.

A casual day at the office ! Throwback on the Shooting of ‘𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑’ with these beautiful Behind The Scenes photos shot by @davidandrewoj for this collaboration project between @turbulence.concept x @perfect._designs X @korua_shapes
.
Shooting this was quite intense physically as I had to carry all day for a full week a 7kg camera while skiing full speed (all alone at camera: so I had to ski + shoot + being stable + watch the screen for focus pulling + frame + watching the piste at the same time) 🫠
.
I shot everything with my fellow Blackmagic Pocket 6K + Laowa Proteus 45mm 2x anamorphic for the handheld shots, and Sigma fp + 18-35 (with anamorphic insert mod for oval bokeh) paired Video assist for Braw on the DJI RS3 Pro & LiDAR for the gimbal shots.
.
We had the hardest conditions you could have as we had heavy snowfall, fog, shitty rain, wind and freezing cold ❄️. The gear was really not happy about these conditions, even with protection against water, everything was fully wet due to the speed while skiing … but it worked. (Had to replace 150€ of cables that died though) 😅
I am super excited and proud of the images but also about this short film. I can’t wait to share it with you this autumn 🍂🥰

An ode to rave culture. With this project, the idea was to create an editorial photoshoot that juxtaposes the elements of freedom within a place of confinement, while showcasing the beauty and diversity of Amsterdam’s rave scene and its ravers.
.
Each model represents a different type of raver, which highlights the diversity of the city’s rave bubble. It is a compelling and evocative work where the storytelling is composed of energetic dance moves —blending the art of dance with narrative expression.

Some screenshots from my latest video and love story ‘Hearts of Asia’ that I will release on Wednesday, I’m super excited to share this with you!! 🎬

I’ve been in Taiwan last December where I did this video during my holidays as a personal project in collaboration with @dzofilm , thanks to @josephlu_lu for the good casting.
.
This was shot on DZO Pavo 2x Anamorphic lenses with Sigma FP camera and BRAW paired with Blackmagic video assist 7’. Video edited in Davinci Resolve and color graded with Dehancer. The lenses are S35 but cover Full frame 16x9 + border crop to come back to a 21x9 ratio. (No open gate FF) 🎥
.
It’s also super light for a 2x anamorphic as it’s only 1.2kg for the lense. When you pair it with a 400g full frame camera (the fp) you can easily put it on a gimbal and still feel it lightweight.
.
I loved the look it gives with big barrel distortion and oval bokeh, I used it mostly fully wide open at T2.1 which is a bit too soft sometimes but perfect when you close a bit. Some shots were with PrismLensFX Halo FX filter.
